So, I just went to my feed, saw that The Abyss wrote a blog saying that Knighty and Xaq added 70 new character tags. I checked, and there's so many!!! Just go check it out, I don't know what character ISN'T there now!!! Just tell me who isn't there, you'll find that a difficult, maybe impossible task!

So character tags. Here are the percentages of seeing them in my stories :).

Applejack: 75%

Princess Celestia: 25%

Princess Luna: 25%

Princess Cadence:25%

Princess Twilight Sparkle -_-: 25%

The other mane 4: 50%

The background ponies: 55%

The cutie mark crusaders: 70%

Discord: 69% :P.

And Everypony else is about 65% of chance into coming to my story.

Now you guys know how the character tags possibility is of a story. Also the OC and Other tag are 15% :).

The long-long-long-long... long... long wait is finally over. We finally have fresh character tags. I'm glad they finally got around to them. It'll help a great deal with curating and notifying.

In fact, this means I have to update a few of my stories with fresh tags and maybe some chapters. But that bit can wait! A more pressing endeavor needs to take center stage.

Recently I read a story that had improper character tags. When I told the author they seemed to be totally uncool about it. In the comments I showed them an image that pointed out the surplus character tag (& admittedly my dissatisfaction with its presence), & the author then replied to me with a doctored image of my comment removing the presence of the tag on the image (& only on the image, the tag remained on the actual story)(they also missed a corner of the tag when they erased it too).

Also I was looking at character tags.

Looks like I can update the character tags so there is an EQG tag now.

Shows how I didn't notice that useful update. Which of course probably happened months ago.

But yeah this is going to start the next arc and this hopefully will be a longer section as in its what I'd be calling "The Crystal Prep Introduction Arc"

Also Rarity was fun to write.

I'm not saying there shouldn't be a limit - people would just add every single tag for the views. But five character tags just seems low on occasion. If you're doing a short story, it's fine. But take my story for example. I put down Sunset, Sci-Twi, Night Light, Velvet, and the main 7. And out of those, Sunset by far plays the biggest role. Here's every character that plays a part that's roughly of the same importance as Velvet:

• Vinyl
• Octavia
• Bon Bon (debatable)

I’m just wondering, Blueblood is only in one episode(two if you count Rarity daydreaming about him), but he has a character tag, and yet Grampa Gruff’s been in at least four, but he doesn’t have a character tag.

Anyone else see something wrong with that?

The sererate arcs will be seperate stories from now on. I've been thinking about it for a while and one of the negative points was that it didn't really matter, because many of the characters didn't have tags.

Now that that's out of the way, I'll be breaking up what I've already written about Little Piece, too. Expect Fluttershy's arc to be a seperate story in acouple of days.

I've already started on my next story, but I've hit an interesting snag. One of the characters in this new story is a character originally from The IDW Comics called Cosmos, and there's no tags for that character on this site! From what i can tell, FiM Fiction's tags are manually entered by the site admins. I'd appreciate it if somepony added Cosmos! She's a really cool canon character that deserves more awesome stories!

Fimfiction should add more character tags because doing so would encourage people to write about more characters, I think. Also it would make stories starring newer characters easier to find.
That's it, basically.

I wish Limestone & Marble would get separate tags, because whenever I'm looking for Limestone stories I keep finding Marble ones. & Moondancer, at least, probably has at least enough stories to be deserving of a tag.
